This policy explains what information FinFigured (“we”, “us”) collects when you use finfigured.com, how it’s used, and the choices you have. The short version: the numbers you type into our calculators stay in your browser, and we don’t sell personal information.

The numbers you enter in calculators

Our calculators run entirely in your browser. Balances, interest rates, payments and any other values you enter are processed on your device and are not sent to our server or stored by us.

If you use Copy link to results, the values you entered are encoded in that link so the results can be reopened. Anyone with the link can see those values, so share it only with people you trust. Downloaded CSV files are saved only on your device.

Information we collect

• Messages you send us. If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. We use these only to reply to you and keep them in our email inbox for as long as needed to handle your request.
• Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider and our content delivery and security service (Cloudflare) automatically process technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse.
• Cookies and similar technologies, described below.

We don’t ask you to create an account, and we don’t knowingly collect sensitive personal information.

Advertising and cookies

FinFigured is free and is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to show ads.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google’s Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.

Where the law requires it, for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the calculators keep working without them.

• To run, secure and improve the website.
• To reply to messages you send us.
• To show advertising that keeps the site free.
• To meet legal obligations.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it except with the service providers listed above that help us run the site, or when required by law.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR in Europe and state privacy laws in the United States such as the CCPA, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to opt out of personalized advertising. To make a request, contact us through our contact page. We’ll respond within the time the law requires.

Children’s privacy

FinFigured is intended for adults and isn’t directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age). We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Our pages may link to other websites. We aren’t responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes. When we do, we’ll revise the effective date at the top of this page.
